Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for metallic neodymium.
This standard applies to metallic neodymium produced by molten salt electrolysis using neodymium oxide as the raw material, which is mainly used as a raw material for permanent magnet materials such as neodymium iron boron and as an additive for rare earth functional materials such as rare earth magnesium alloys.
