Scope

This part specifies the method of determining the gold content in gold products by combining density measurement with electron probe analysis (or X-ray fluorescence analysis and secondary ion mass spectrometry analysis).
This part is applicable to the non-destructive determination of gold content in alloy-type sintered gold products with a gold content of not less than 75%.
This part is not applicable to cast-molded gold products with bubbles, hollow gold products, or gold products with coatings.
