Scope

This standard specifies the models, basic types and dimensions, technical requirements, inspection and test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of dissolved acetylene gas cylinder valves.
This standard is applicable to dissolved acetylene gas cylinder valves (hereinafter referred to as valves) with an ambient temperature of -40 °C to +60 °C and a nominal working pressure of 3 MPa.
Note: The pressures in this standard all refer to gauge pressures.
