Scope

This standard specifies the classification, composition, acceptance preparation, acceptance requirements, testing methods, and quality determination and processing of ultra-high temperature instant sterilization (UHT) equipment for low-acid liquid foods. This standard applies to ultra-high temperature instant sterilization (UHT) equipment used in conjunction with aseptic packaging of liquid foods and other filling equipment. This standard also applies to the sterilization of acidic foods after appropriately adjusting the sterilization temperature and holding time.
