This standard stipulates the basic requirements for buildings and structures, residential neighborhoods, urban roads, public facilities, urban greening, signage and advertising facilities, urban lighting, public places, urban water bodies, historical and cultural districts, protected buildings, and construction sites in the urbanized areas of Shanghai City, including the main urban area, new cities, new towns, and urbanized areas such as independent industrial zones and economic development zones.
