Scope
This part of GB/T 31523 specifies the general principles and requirements for setting up safety information identification systems in public places and work areas, as well as the selection principles, design, production, and installation requirements for various elements of safety information identification systems.
Note: GB/T 31523.1 defines the safety information identification system and its main system elements.
This part is applicable to the planning and setting up of safety information identification systems in various public places and work areas, and also to the installation and maintenance of safety information identification systems.
This part is not applicable to the setting up of traffic signals used in railways, highways, inland waterways, maritime transport, and air transport.
