GB/T 21432-2008 Graphite pressure vessels
GB/T 21432-2008 Graphite pressure vessels
Basic Information
Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the requirements for the design, materials, manufacturing, inspection and acceptance, and storage and transportation of graphite pressure vessels (hereinafter referred to as "vessels"). 1.2 This standard applies to all kinds of graphite pressure vessels used to contain gases, liquefied gases, and liquids with a maximum working temperature of not less than the standard boiling point, with a working pressure of not less than 0.1MPa and not more than 24MPa, and a product of pressure and volume of not less than 25MPa·L. The applicable temperature range is -60℃ to 400℃. 1.3 The metal pressure-bearing components in the vessels shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB 150 and GB 151; the non-pressure-bearing steel components shall comply with the relevant provisions of JB/T 4735. 1.4 This standard does not apply to the following graphite vessels: a) Graphite vessels directly heated by flames; b) Graphite vessels in nuclear energy devices; c) Cast graphite; d) Graphite brick-board lined equipment where the main stress is borne by the metal shell.
