Scope

This part of GB/T 31301 specifies the relevant safety requirements for the definition, design, structure, transportation, installation, adjustment, operation, and cleaning of glue applicators and glue drying machines. This part includes all major hazards, dangerous states, and dangerous events related to glue applicators and glue drying machines within the scope of this part that may arise from the intended use and foreseeable misuse by operators (see Appendix A).
This part applies to glue applicators and glue drying machines used in the glueing process of footwear manufacturing (see Appendix B for schematic diagrams of the models).
This part does not apply to glue coating machines used in the tanning industry.
