Scope
This part of GB/T 31301 specifies the relevant safety requirements for the design, installation, transportation, adjustment, and operation of shaping machines. This part includes all major hazards, dangerous states, and dangerous events related to shaping machines within the scope of this part, which are caused by the operator's intended use and foreseeable misuse of the shaping machine (see Appendix A).
This part applies to shaping machines used in the shaping process of shoe production, which use a combination of heat, cold, and pressure to shape the upper and the shoe (see Appendix B for a schematic diagram of the machine).
This part does not apply to machines for pressure-molding shoe soles.
