Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for dried oysters, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, storage, and transportation requirements.
This standard applies to dried oysters made from farmed or wild oysters (Ostrea spp.) as raw materials, which are processed through the steps of meat extraction, rinsing, salted steaming (or without steaming), drying, and sorting.
