Scope

This standard specifies the terms, definitions, symbols, operating conditions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, and storage for diaphragm gas meters (hereinafter referred to as gas meters). This standard applies to gas meters with a maximum working pressure not exceeding 50 kPa, a maximum flow rate not exceeding 160 m3/h, and an accuracy class of 1.5. Note: Unless otherwise specified, the pressure mentioned in this standard refers to the relative atmospheric pressure (gage pressure).
