Scope

This document specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polypropylene recycled plastics.
This document applies to polypropylene recycled plastic pellets made from waste polypropylene plastics through processes such as screening, classification, cleaning, and melt extrusion granulation (including granulation processes such as drawing, thermal cutting, and/or water cutting), where the base material of the polypropylene recycled plastic is all propylene homopolymers specified in GB/T 2546.1 and propylene copolymers with a mass fraction of other 1-olefin monomers less than 50%, as well as blends with a mass fraction of the aforementioned polymers not less than 50%.
This document does not apply to polypropylene recycled plastics from hazardous waste such as medical waste and pesticide packaging, or radioactive waste.
This document does not apply to mixed recycled plastics of polyethylene and polypropylene.
