Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, and quality certificates for large-scale forged steel bars made from high-carbon chromium bearing steel. This standard applies to forged steel bars made from high-carbon chromium bearing steel with a nominal diameter of 400 mm to 1,000 mm, which are used to manufacture bearing rings (hereinafter referred to as "steel materials").
