Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, shapes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for small-diameter precision seamless tubes made of corrosion-resistant alloys.
This standard applies to cold-rolled (drawn) small-diameter precision seamless tubes made of corrosion-resistant alloys such as nickel-based, iron-nickel-based, pure nickel, and nickel-copper, with a nominal outer diameter of 3 mm to 30 mm and a wall thickness of 0.3 mm to 3.0 mm (hereinafter referred to as alloy tubes).
