Scope

This document specifies the requirements for raw materials and auxiliary materials of dried sea cucumbers, processing water, product specifications, quality grades, and net content, describes the corresponding test methods, and also stipulates inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This document is applicable to the production, processing, and sales of products made from Apostichopus japonicus, which undergoes pre-treatment, boiling, drying, and other processes. Dried sea cucumbers processed from other types of sea cucumbers shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
