Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for aluminum-steel composite strips used in industries such as brazed heat exchangers, as well as the contents of purchase orders (or contracts).
This standard applies to aluminum-steel composite strips (hereinafter referred to as composite strips) made by rolling aluminum alloy strips or aluminum alloy strips coated with pure aluminum on both sides onto the surface of low-carbon steel strips.
