Scope
This document specifies the grading, general requirements, detection techniques, image evaluation, detection records, and reports for industrial computer X-ray and gamma-ray radiographic inspection of castings using phosphorescent imaging plates (IP).
This document is applicable to industrial computer radiographic inspections of castings made from materials such as steel, iron, copper and copper alloys, nickel and nickel alloys, magnesium and magnesium alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloys, titanium and titanium alloys, etc. Other castings can be referenced for use.
