Scope
本文件规定了存在爆炸性粉尘环境及可能出现可燃性粉尘层的场所识别和场所分类，以便对出现在这些场所的点燃源进行适当的评定。
在本文件中，对爆炸性粉尘环境和可燃性粉尘层区别对待。第4章描述了爆炸性粉尘云的场所分类，而粉尘层则作为可能的释放源之一。第7章对粉尘层的点燃危险进行了描述。
本文件采取以工厂清理防止粉尘层积聚为基础的有效现场清理。如果不进行有效的现场清理，场所分类将包括粉尘层可能形成的爆炸性粉尘云。
对可燃性纤维或可燃性飞絮可能引起危险的场所，也可遵循本文件的原则。
