Scope

本文件规定了可单独或组合运行的设备的设计、结构、评定和使用信息(维护、修理、标志)的防爆要求。
包括用于有甲烷和/或可燃性粉尘的爆炸性环境的矿用机械装置和元件。假定设备能够运行的标准大气条件(与环境的爆炸特性有关)如下:
——温度:-20 ℃~+60 ℃;
——压力:80 kPa~110 kPa;
——空气中正常氧含量:通常为21%(体积分数)。
注: 对超出该范围的大气条件下使用的电气设备可要求进一步附加考虑和试验。
本文件适用于在含有甲烷和/或可燃性粉尘的爆炸性环境使用的Mb级(EPL Mb)设备和元件。
对于Ma级(EPL Ma)设备和元件,本文件、GB/T 3836.1和GB/T 3836.28的要求适用。
可能对危险有影响的外部条件以及综合保护措施也需要考虑。这些措施可包括通风、瓦斯探测或瓦斯抽放。
本文件也涉及了由设备结构中使用的如织物纤维、塑料“O”形环、橡胶密封圈、润滑油或油脂等可燃性材料的燃烧(或焖燃)引起爆炸性环境点燃的预防(如果这些材料可能是点燃源)。例如,旋转轴承的机械故障能引起摩擦生热,点燃其塑料罩、塑料密封或润滑油脂。
输送带防火的具体要求和试验程序不属于本文件的范围。
