Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, raw materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, and storage of plastic septic tanks (hereinafter referred to as "septic tanks").
This standard applies to septic tanks made of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) as the main raw materials, with a maximum covering soil layer of no more than 2 m on the top of the septic tank.
