This document specifies the terms and definitions, insulation systems, temperature rise limits, components and materials, special considerations during design, required information, nameplates and supplementary information, testing, monitoring, diagnosis, and maintenance for liquid-immersed power transformers that use high-temperature insulation materials.
This document applies to the following liquid-immersed transformer products with operating temperatures exceeding conventional limits and using high-temperature insulation materials or a combination of high-temperature insulation materials and conventional insulation materials:

—— Converter transformers that comply with the GB/T 18494 series of standards;
—— Wind power generation transformers that comply with GB/T 1094.16;
