CJ/T 297-2016 High density polyethylene sheathing compounds for bridge cables
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the product classification and specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of high-density polyethylene sheathing materials for bridge cables and ropes.
This standard applies to high-density polyethylene sheathing materials for bridge cables and ropes, which are mainly made from high-density polyethylene resin and additives such as modifiers, antioxidants, light stabilizers, carbon black, or pigments. These materials are produced through mixing, plasticizing, and granulating processes. They are primarily used for heat-extruded sheathing of bridge cables and ropes, as well as spiral wires or casings. They can also be used for heat-extruded sheathing or casings of other rope structures.
