Scope

This standard specifies the process specifications for high-speed precision hot forging parts (hereinafter referred to as "forging parts"), including general principles, determination of process parameters, preparation of forging blanks, heating of blanks, requirements for molds, and selection of equipment.
This standard is applicable to the process preparation of steel precision forging parts that are formed by hot forging, with a production pace of 50 pieces/min or more, a weight of less than 7.5 kg, and an outer diameter not exceeding 180 mm.
