Scope
This document specifies the requirements for the raw materials, production water, product specifications, sensory properties, physical and chemical indicators, and net content of frozen tilapia fillets. It describes the corresponding testing methods, provides inspection rules, and also stipulates the requirements for labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This document is applicable to frozen tilapia fillets produced from live tilapia (Oreochromis spp.) through processes such as sorting, washing, filleting, trimming, and quick-freezing.
