Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the design, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of trade metering systems in newly built and renovated natural gas metering stations. The quality of the transported natural gas should comply with the requirements of GB 17820. This standard applies to trade metering systems in natural gas metering stations with a design throughput capacity of not less than 100 m3/h (under standard reference conditions) and an operating pressure of not less than 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure). This standard does not address all safety issues related to its application. Before using this standard, it is the user's responsibility to develop corresponding safety and protection measures and clearly define its limited scope of application.
