Scope

This document specifies the product models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of explosion-proof mining converter substations (hereinafter referred to as "converter substations") and their various components, including dry-type transformers for explosion-proof mining converter substations (hereinafter referred to as "converter transformers"), high-voltage vacuum switches for explosion-proof mining mobile substations (hereinafter referred to as "high-voltage vacuum switches"), cable connectors for explosion-proof mining mobile substations (hereinafter referred to as "cable connectors"), and low-voltage protection boxes for explosion-proof mining converter substations (hereinafter referred to as "low-voltage protection boxes").
This document applies to explosion-proof mining converter substations equipped with converter transformers, high-voltage vacuum switches, and low-voltage protection boxes used in coal mines. Other types of high- and low-voltage configured converter substations can refer to this document for guidance.
