Scope
This standard specifies a series of objective evaluation methods to familiarize evaluators with sensory analysis.
This standard is applicable to:
a)〖WB〗 Training evaluators to identify and distinguish different flavors;
b)〖DW〗 Training evaluators to understand and distinguish different types of thresholds;
c)〖DW〗 Enabling each evaluator to understand their own taste sensitivity;
d)〖DW〗 Enabling evaluation organizers to conduct preliminary classification of evaluators.
This standard is also applicable to regular monitoring and testing of taste sensitivity of evaluators in sensory analysis groups.
