Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions of electromagnetic gas emergency shut-off valves, specifies their classification and models, materials and structures, requirements, describes the corresponding test methods, and clarifies the inspection rules, marking and user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements. This document applies to electromagnetic gas emergency shut-off valves (hereinafter referred to as "shut-off valves") installed on gas user pipelines with a maximum working pressure of not more than 0.4 MPa and a nominal size of not more than DN300, and used to transport natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (including liquefied petroleum gas mixed with air), and artificial gas.
