Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for pollution-free food products, namely Lake Biwa oysters.
This standard applies to live Lake Biwa oysters (Crassostrea rivularis Gould) and their meat. The requirements for live oysters and their meat of other species can be implemented with reference to this standard.
