GB/T 41157.2-2022 Fasteners for nuclear power plants—Part 2:Nuts made of carbon steel and alloy steel
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements for Class 1, 2, and 3 carbon steel and alloy steel nuts (hereinafter referred to as Class 1, 2, and 3 nuts) used in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, the test methods at room temperature (10 °C to 35 °C), and the marking and packaging.
Note 1: The product dimensions shall be in accordance with the corresponding product standards or drawings.
This document applies to Class 1, 2, and 3 carbon steel and alloy steel nuts:
a) made of carbon steel or alloy steel;
b) conforming to the ordinary thread specified in GB/T 192 and GB/T 196;
c) coarse-tooth thread M5 to M64, fine-tooth thread M8×1 to M64×4;
d) conforming to the diameter and pitch combination specified in GB/T 193;
e) conforming to the tolerances specified in GB/T 197 and GB/T 9145.
This document does not specify the following performance requirements:
—— Locking performance of effective torque nuts (see GB/T 3098.9);
—— Torsion clamping force performance (test method see GB/T 16823.3);
—— Weldability;
—— Corrosion resistance.
Other types of nuclear power plants can also refer to this document for the use of Class 1, 2, and 3 carbon steel and alloy steel nuts.
Note 2: The maximum operating temperature of the fasteners produced in accordance with this document is 370 °C. When the operating temperature exceeds 370 °C, it is recommended that users consult experts in the relevant field.
