GB/T 41157.4-2022 Fasteners for nuclear power plants—Part 4:Nuts made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements for Class 1, 2, and 3 stainless steel nuts used in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants (hereinafter referred to as Class 1, 2, and 3 stainless steel nuts), the test methods at room temperature (10℃~35℃), and their marking and packaging.
Note 1: The product dimensions shall comply with the corresponding product standards or drawings.
This document applies to Class 1, 2, and 3 stainless steel nuts:
a) made of austenitic stainless steel (in the solid solution state), martensitic stainless steel, or precipitation-hardened stainless steel;
b) conforming to the ordinary thread specifications stipulated in GB/T 192 and GB/T 196;
c) coarse-tooth thread M5~M64, fine-tooth thread M8×1~M64×4;
d) conforming to the tolerances specified in GB/T 197 and GB/T 9145;
e) conforming to the diameter and pitch combinations specified in GB/T 193;
f) of any shape.
This document does not specify the following performance requirements:
—— Locking performance of effective torque nuts (see GB/T 3098.9);
—— Weldability.
Other types of nuclear power plants may also refer to this document for the use of Class 1, 2, and 3 stainless steel nuts.
Note 2: The maximum operating temperature for fasteners produced in accordance with this document is 370℃. When the operating temperature exceeds 370℃, it is recommended that users consult experts in the relevant field.
