Scope

This part of GB 25684 specifies the safety requirements for wheeled and tracked bulldozers and their rear winches, and provides illustrations of bulldozers (see Appendix A).
This part is used in conjunction with GB 25684.1 (which specifies the general safety requirements for earthmoving machinery). The specific requirements of this part take precedence over the general requirements of GB 25684.1.
This part applies to wheeled and tracked bulldozers defined in GB/T 8498.
This part specifies the major hazards, dangerous states, or dangerous events associated with earthmoving machinery within its scope when used under the manufacturer's specified conditions and anticipated misuse conditions. It also prescribes technical measures to eliminate or reduce the risks caused by major hazards, dangerous states, or dangerous events during use, operation, and maintenance.
This part does not apply to machines manufactured before the implementation of this part.
