Scope
This document specifies the product classification, raw materials, processing water, processing requirements, specifications, sensory requirements, physicochemical indicators, and net content of frozen scallops, describes the corresponding test methods, and also stipulates inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This document is applicable to the processing and sale of frozen scallops made from Chlamys farreri, Argopecten irradians, and Patinopecten yessoensis as raw materials, which are processed and quick-frozen. The corresponding products produced from other varieties of scallops shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
