Scope

This part of GB/T 33588 specifies the requirements and tests for conductor fasteners made of metal, non-metal, and composite materials. Conductor fasteners are used to fasten lightning arresters, down conductors, and grounding systems. Due to the large number and wide variety of types used in modern buildings, this part does not cover conductor fasteners applied to non-metallic bricks, tiles, and plastic panels (membranes) on building roofs. LPSC can also be used in hazardous environments. Attention should be paid to the additional requirements for components installed in such environments.
