This standard specifies the terms and definitions of Shaoxing wine, the scope of protection for geographical indication products, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to Shaoxing wine, also known as Shaoxing yellow wine (hereinafter referred to as Shaoxing wine), which is listed in the catalogue of geographical indication products protection approved by the national administrative departments of quality supervision, inspection and quarantine in accordance with the "Regulations on the Protection of Geographical Indication Products".
