Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and inspection rules for cast aluminum alloys used in automotive wheels (hereinafter referred to as "wheels").
This standard applies to cast aluminum alloys used in metal mold casting for wheels. Cast aluminum alloys for motorcycle wheels can also be used in accordance with this standard.
