Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for regular inspections of polyethylene gas pipelines in urban areas (hereinafter referred to as gas pipelines), including annual inspections, comprehensive inspections, pressure (stress) tests, inspection reports, and problem handling requirements. This standard applies to regular inspections of gas polyethylene pipelines that meet the following conditions: a) working pressure: 0.10 MPa≤p≤0.8 MPa; b) nominal diameter: 50 mm≤DN≤630 mm; c) working temperature: -20 ℃~40 ℃; d) the transported medium is natural gas, artificial coal gas, or liquefied petroleum gas. Gas polyethylene pipelines with other working pressures can also be used for reference.
