Scope
This document provides the classification and marking of steel wire ropes used in electric shovels (hereinafter referred to as steel wire ropes), specifies the order content, manufacturing process, technical requirements, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates, safety, use and maintenance, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to the manufacture and acceptance of shovel lifting ropes, shovel opening and closing ropes, traction ropes, lifting ropes, variable amplitude ropes, pushing and pulling ropes, pull-back ropes, and tension ropes.
