Scope

This document specifies the dimensions, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of deformed high-temperature alloy wire.
This document is applicable to the production of deformed high-temperature alloy cold-drawn wire (hereinafter referred to as "wire") with a nominal diameter not exceeding 8.0 mm, used for making springs, cold heading, and brush seals. Wire for other purposes should be used as a reference.
