Scope
This standard specifies the basic principles and general procedures for establishing reference samples of sensory characteristics.
This standard is applicable to the establishment of reference samples of sensory characteristics in food sensory evaluation, and also to the establishment of reference samples of sensory characteristics when conducting sensory evaluations of non-food consumer products such as cosmetics, personal care products, and textiles.
