Scope

This document specifies the requirements for the design, materials, manufacturing, inspection, and preparation for shipment of integrated skid-mounted units, oil-lubricated or oil-free cylinders, and split or integral reciprocating compressors with drive motors used in the oil and gas industry, as well as the purchasing specifications, on-site construction, and minimum requirements for equipment procurement that can be implemented in accordance with these requirements.
This document applies to integrated skid-mounted reciprocating compressors and all necessary auxiliary equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
Note 1: Necessary auxiliary equipment includes: water and gas coolers, mufflers, exhaust emission control equipment, filters, separators, control panels, and pipelines, etc.
Note 2: These equipment are assembled into an operable unit in accordance with the purchasing specifications and the minimum requirements for on-site construction and equipment installation.
This document does not include the following equipment:
——Oil-lubricated or oil-free reciprocating compressors (hereinafter referred to as compressors) used in the oil and gas industry as specified in GB/T 20322;
——Compressors directly installed on foundations;
——Single-acting piston compressors with a crosshead and piston integrated (automobile type);
——Power or instrumentation air compressors with an exhaust pressure not exceeding 0.9 MPa;
——Compressors driven by diesel engines, gas turbines, and steam turbines.
