Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions of water jacket heating furnaces, describes the basic parameters and model compilation methods, and stipulates the general technical requirements for materials, design, manufacturing, inspection and testing, installation, commissioning and use, safety accessories and instruments, as well as combustion equipment and systems.
This document is applicable to water jacket heating furnaces that use solid, liquid or gas as fuel, with a rated working pressure of less than 0.1 MPa and a maximum working temperature of less than 120℃. These furnaces heat crude oil or its mixtures through the water in the water jacket, and the maximum working temperature of the heated medium in the heat exchange tubes is below the standard boiling point.
When other media are used in the heat exchange tubes of water jacket heating furnaces, this document can be referenced for use.
