Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, grading and specification methods, evaluation results, and marking for the upper brain, eye meat, outer rib, and inner rib of ordinary beef cattle.
This standard applies to the grading of ordinary beef cattle, but not to the grading of veal, white beef, or marbled beef.
