Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, tests, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage and transportation for medium- and high-power biogas power generation units (hereinafter referred to as "units").
This standard applies to AC grid-frequency generators driven by reciprocating internal combustion engines with a rated frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, a power of not less than 250 kW, and biogas (with a methane content of not less than 30%) as the main fuel.
