Scope
This document specifies the general requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, and marking, transportation, and storage for prefabricated direct-buried insulated valves used in urban heating systems (hereinafter referred to as "insulated valves").
This document applies to:
—— The manufacture and inspection of prefabricated steel insulated valves for direct burial and well chambers, with a continuous operating temperature of not less than 4 ℃ and not more than 120 ℃, and an occasional peak temperature of not more than 130 ℃, and a nominal size of less than or equal to DN 1600;
—— The manufacture and inspection of prefabricated Type II heat-resistant polyethylene insulated valves (hereinafter referred to as "PE-RT II insulated valves") for direct burial and well chambers, with a continuous operating temperature of not more than 75 ℃.
