Scope

This document specifies the symbols and descriptions, types, materials, design, manufacturing, testing methods, and inspection rules for liquefied petroleum gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as "gas cylinders"), as well as requirements for marking, packaging, coating, storage and transportation, and factory documents.
This document applies to the design and manufacture of welded steel gas cylinders for liquefied petroleum gas, which are used under normal environmental temperatures (–40°C to 60°C), have a nominal working pressure of 2.1 MPa, a nominal volume of not more than 150 L, and can be repeatedly filled with liquefied petroleum gas that complies with GB 11174.
