GB/T 7165.5-2008 Equipment for continuous monitoring of radioactivity in gaseous effluents—Part 5:Specific requirements for tritium monitors
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 7165 applies to equipment used for simultaneously, delayed, or sequentially measuring all gaseous forms of tritium in gaseous discharge streams emitted into the environment. Such equipment should have the following functions: — Measuring the tritium concentration in the gaseous discharge stream and its changes over time at the discharge point; — Triggering an alarm signal when the volume activity or total discharge activity exceeds a predetermined value. Such equipment can also be used to determine the tritium activity emitted within a given period. The purpose of this part is to establish special standard requirements, including technical characteristics and general test conditions, and to provide examples of feasible methods for monitoring tritium discharge streams as specified in Chapter 4.
