GB/T 19212.2-2025 Safety of transformers, reactors, power supply units and combinations thereof—Part 2:Particular requirements and tests for separating transformers and power supply units incorporating separating transformers for general applications
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the electrical, thermal, and mechanical safety requirements and testing requirements for general-purpose isolation transformers and power supply devices with built-in isolation transformers. Transformers with electronic circuits are also included in this document.
Unless otherwise specified, the following term "transformer" includes general-purpose isolation transformers and power supply devices with built-in isolation transformers.
This document applies to (linear) power supply devices. For switching power supply devices, GB/T 19212.17 applies.
This document does not apply to transformers included in GB/T 1094.11.
This document applies to stationary or mobile, single-phase or multi-phase, air-cooled (self-cooling or air-cooled), independent or matched dry transformers. Their windings can be encapsulated or non-encapsulated.
The rated supply voltage does not exceed AC 1,000 V, and the rated supply frequency and internal operating frequency do not exceed 500 Hz.
The rated output does not exceed:
—— Single-phase transformers, 1 kVA;
—— Multi-phase transformers, 5 kVA.
If the buyer and the manufacturer have another agreement, this document also applies to transformers with no limit on rated output.
