Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, model compilation, structural requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, quality certification documents, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of gas pressure regulators used in urban gas transmission and distribution systems (hereinafter referred to as "pressure regulators").
This standard applies to pressure regulators with an import pressure not exceeding 4.0 MPa and an operating temperature range not exceeding -20 ℃ to 60 ℃.
This standard does not apply to underground pressure regulators.
