Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the types and parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for automotive compressed hydrogen aluminum-lined carbon fiber fully wrapped gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as gas cylinders). This standard applies to the design and manufacture of rechargeable gas cylinders with a nominal working pressure not exceeding 70 MPa, a nominal water volume not exceeding 450 L, a storage medium of compressed hydrogen, an operating temperature not lower than -40 °C and not higher than 85 °C, and fixed on road vehicles for use as fuel tanks. Note: Gas cylinders for supplying hydrogen for hydrogen fuel cells and urban rail transit can be manufactured and inspected in accordance with this standard.
